"MRU follows all IRB laws, with these exceptions, and these are the only exceptions....These directives are not changes to the MRU bylaws. These directives only apply to MRU games.
- Tights are acceptable.
- When a yellow card is issued – the player leaves the field for 10 minutes or until the non-offending team scores a try; at that point the player is allowed to come back onto the field.
- When a red card is issued the offending player is ejected from the game and suffers all associated sanctions that may occur as a result of the ejection but after a full 10 minutes the offending team can replace the missing player. "
